Description: Dual relationships are the most common reason for sanctions against mental health providers. Join us for an interactive and dynamic presentation with a deep-dive into dual relationships using real-world case examples. Participants will be invited to bring in case examples for discussion and will be introduced to an ethical decision making model. 


Learning Objectives: 
  1. Participants will be able to determine what classifies as a dual relationship. 
  2. Participants will be able to explain a decision-making model to utilize in discerning dual relationship situations.
  3. Participants will analyze three clinical situations involving dual relationships utilizing an ethical decision making model.
